This was followed by presentations on the individual tasks and areas: Linda Plantenga introduced her area of responsibility as Online Marketing Manager, Saskia Freericks and Elena Tree their core tasks as web designers, Matthias Bruch (Developer) presented the programs he works with, and Jegan Thillainadarajan presented the company as "Employer 2.0" and the other job profiles to the students. The students always had the opportunity to ask questions. The company showed the future prospects and various support opportunities for students.
Students visit netzkern
On 19.05.2016 students of the University of Wuppertal visited the internet agency netzkern in Wuppertal. They were accompanied by Klaus Appelt and Claudia Novak from the IHK Wuppertal-Solingen-Remscheid and by Dr. Peter Jonk and Katharina Niepieklo from the Science Transfer Office of the University of Wuppertal. Dr.-Ing. Daniel Schulten, chairman of netzkern and alumni of the University of Wuppertal, welcomed the students together with Jegan Thillainadarajan, who then guided the group of students through "the core" - the building of the company. The visitors were impressed by the modern rooms and their equipment. Then the individual teams and the various work areas were presented. Along the way especially the team spirit of the company was emphasized.
