In Touch Career
In Touch Career supports international and refugee students in their studies and career entry. Therefore advisory services, new digital formats and workshops are established. The project focuses not only on professional development, but also on personal, social and intercultural qualification in the German labour market.
In Touch Career offers free consultation sessions international and refugee students of the University of Wuppertal. The students are being counselled on the topics of career and application. In sight of the current situation, consultation takes place by telephone or digitally (Zoom). Please contact us by phone at 0202 / 439 - 30 44 or by email at email@example.com for a first consultation interview.
At first, international and refugee students may find it difficult to deal with their career in addition to the challenges they already face in a new country. The Career Service would like to offer students some guidance. You are welcome to use our consultation service. You can read more on what you should pay special attention to here: More information.
Financing despite Corona
In the sight of the current situation, international and refugee students also have difficulties in financing their studies sustainably and thus securing their livelihood. At the same time, there are still companies that are looking for support and hiring students at this time. You can use the official job portal of the University of Wuppertal and easily find a suitable position.
In Touch Career is a joint project of the Career Service, the International Center, the Lanuage Learning Institute (SLI) and the Center for Information and Media Processing (ZIM). As part of the project multiple new integrative formats are being provided. These are going to be directed to the needs of international students and refugees. Target-group-specific events are going to take place besides the classical consultation. Further Information
