JobTalks
With JobTalks, the Career Service offers students the opportunity to prepare specifically for the application process and career-related topics each semester. Experienced speakers report on their everyday working lives, provide insights into their career paths and answer participants' questions. In addition, the Career Service provides support on general career topics, such as preparing application documents or preparing for job interviews.
Excursion Weeks
In cooperation with the Wuppertal-Solingen-Remscheid Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the University of Wuppertal offers students the opportunity to gain a unique insight into companies in the Bergisch region every year.
The companies provide direct insights into their working environment, demonstrate processes on site and present their corporate culture. Students can establish valuable contacts with potential employers and familiarise themselves with career prospects in the region at an early stage.
Skills Workshops
In cooperation with our university partners from industry and business, the Career Service offers skills-specific workshops to support students in the practical application of their skills and thus prepare them optimally for the demands of the job market.
